Preschool Lead Teacher
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Position Overview
Rising Scholars Early Learning Center is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and dependable Lead Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about early childhood education, values relationship-building with children and families, and can create a classroom environment that is safe, engaging, structured, and developmentally appropriate.
The Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing daily instruction, supporting social-emotional development, maintaining classroom routines, and collaborating with staff and families to support student growth and kindergarten readiness.
Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and hands-on learning experiences
-
Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
-
Foster kindergarten readiness through literacy, language, math, and play-based learning activities
-
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
-
Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing requirements
-
Observe and document student progress and developmental milestones
-
Use positive behavior support and classroom management strategies
-
Communicate professionally and consistently with families and administration

Collaborate with team members to support a thriving school culture
Qualifications & Requirements
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
CDA (Child Development Associate) credential and/or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
-
Candidates without credentials must be willing to enroll in and complete a CDA program
-
Previous preschool, childcare, or early childhood classroom experience preferred
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Ability to multitask and maintain a calm, positive classroom environment

Passion for early childhood education and child development
-
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
-
Must meet all state-required clearances and background checks
-
CPR/First Aid Certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Center Director
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Position Overview
Rising Scholars Learning Center is seeking an experienced, organized, and passionate Center Director to lead the daily operations of our early learning program. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is committed to maintaining a positive school culture, supporting staff development, building strong family relationships, and ensuring excellence in early childhood education and program operations.
The Center Director will oversee staff management, program compliance, curriculum support, enrollment, family communication, and the overall success of the center.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the learning center to ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment

Supervise, support, and coach teaching staff and administrative team members
-
Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and policies
-
Support curriculum implementation and classroom quality across age groups
-
Build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and the community
-
Conduct staff evaluations, coaching, onboarding, and professional development support
-
Manage enrollment processes, tours, and family communication
-
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and operational reports
-
Support scheduling, staffing, and center organization
-
Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional school culture
-
Address parent concerns and resolve issues professionally and effectively
-
Ensure classrooms and facilities maintain health and safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Minimum Associate degree required (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field preferred)
-
Must possess a valid Director Credential
-
Previous leadership or management experience in a childcare or early childhood education setting required
-
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and licensing regulations
-
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

Strong professionalism and ability to build relationships with families and staff

CPR/First Aid Certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Must meet all state-required background checks and clearances
